16249817_1While the location is going to be very, very important, the types of people that are in the neighborhood is going to be important as well.  You want to make sure that you are purchasing a home that you are going to sell in a neighborhood that not only looks good but has trust-worthy people there.

Crime should be very, very low and overall, what does the neighborhood look like?  This can be very important to any potential buyers.  I know that when I was looking to rent a place, I looked at the neighborhoods to see exactly what they looked like before I rented.

The overall appearance should look good and the types of people should be nice – which is not all that hard to find.

REOSignFeaturedInvesting in real estate is something that is great if you are looking to make a little extra money or even make it your main source of income, however you want to make sure that you know what you are doing whenever you start investing.  Firstly, you want to make sure that you analyze the neighborhood and the market that you might be purchasing a house in.

You want to make sure that you choose a place that is around everything and that is overall, a good location.  To be honest, this is a deal breaker for people.  Even if you fix up the house and it looks great, if it is not in a good location, people will not buy it.

Negotiation-main_FullNow that we have talked a little bit about the fear that is associated with negotiating the price of your dream home down, let’s get to the root of the fear.  Do you think that the home owners are going to turn you down?  So what if they do?   At least you asked.

There is an old saying that you can not get the answer of no unless you try and that is all you are doing, is trying.  Now, if you really want to make an impact on the price of the home, you have to ready to walk away.

This is a huge step.  If you are serious about the sale and the price that you want, you want to make sure that you are ready to walk away from the sale if the home buyers do not cave.

internet-searchUsing the internet is something that I personally love in order to create new prospects.  I love the blogs that I have set up and the website that I have created – did you know that using the internet to create leads for your real estate business is a great way to really and truly get your name out there?

Internet leads – while some associates do not think they are worth it, really are.  Personally, I have had internet leads turn out to be truly huge opportunities and all they wanted to do was use the internet to execute it because it is faster.

The internet is a great resource to collect information too – there are a ton of different forums that you can use and take advantage of so you can really be ahead of the real estate game.
